This session is for those entering the first grade and exiting the third grade and will be limited to 125 campers. The camp begins with registration on Wednesday, May 30, at 4 p.m. and will end Friday, June 1 at 3:15 p.m. Staff opportunities are extremely limited. ONE GREAT WEEK, ONE GREAT PURPOSE - Camp brings us closer to one another and to our God. The worship, the Bible classes, the devos, will make us stronger. Friendships that will last a lifetime are all part of our week at camp. Special singing groups, (remember the doowoop group from last year), ball, crafts, swimming; of course, our great staff - Jacob and Neal are great co-directors, Momma Louise, Sister Val, and all the wonderful other people that make our week at camp - make it a week that you will not want to miss. Will Big Jon be back? Who can tell. You will just have to be there and find out. See you all in June. bicabee@bellsouth.net
All upcoming 5th graders through graduated seniors are invited to take part in an incredible week of camp. Reach week is a camp session designed to help young people grow in their relationship with God. We work hard to make that relationship real by sharing how to make an IMPACT (I Must Personally Advance Christ Today)! This year our theme is "Prove It!" Our morning Bible lasses will study Christian Evidences. Our afternoon Heart to Heart studies will study God's answers for the tough issues young people face today. If you desire to build a deeper love for God, meet new friends & have a lot of fun then Reach Week is the place for you! Send your registration early, this session will fill up quickly! Come reach, stretch and grow with us at Reach Week! pj@westsidechurchofchrist.org
Imagine that you are on your deathbed, looking back on your life. How do you think you will remember your life? Will you be proud of all the things you have accomplished? Do you think you would have a log of regrets? Will you wish that you had spent more time dong certain things, and less time doing others? Perhaps you would rather have spent more time loving and living and less time watching TV. or more time with friends and family and less time on the computer. At the end of your life, you will most likely be really good at deciding what is important and what is not important, simply because you've had so much time to figure it out.
But what about right now? It is possible to live life before your get to your death bed, knowing what is really important, what really matters? Or, to put it a different way, are there parts of your life right now that don't matter to you, but they do matter to God?
If you've ever longed to distinguish between the things in life that matter and the things that don't, then join us this summer at PSCC for "It Matters." As always, there will be fun, laughing, games, sports, hanging out, videos, family time, awesome worship, great family Bible studies, and swimming. Invite all your friends and get ready for the best week of the summer. We can't wait to see you there! pbrookman@mrcc.org
Camp J.A.M. is back in 2011! For 18 years this session has been a favorite for kids entering 4th grade through entering 7th grade. This summer will be no different. We'll continue such traditions as the Kick-Off Carnival, Ticks & Chiggers, Summer Singer's Concert, K.J.A.M. Radio, and most importantly, great worship and exciting Bible classes. Again this year we're having Team Spirit Day. This is the day you wear the color of your favorite school, college or pro team. So don't forget to bring your favorite team shirt or hat. It'll be fun! As you know J.A.M. stands for "Jesus and Me." We want kids to learn how important it is to go through life with Jesus by their side. So come join the fun! Don't forget to bring $10 for your special Camp J.A. M. t-shirt (make checks payable to Camp J.A.M. It's separate from registration so bring your check/money wit you to camp.) This session fills up quickly so don't wait to send in your registration form. First come first serve. Due to the size of this session we have to limit it to only those kids entering 4th thru entering 7th grades. Registration begins Sunday, June 24th at 2:30 p.m. Camp ends Friday, June 29th at 11:00 a.m. Scott Young is the Session Director. syoung@mrcc.org
