During the fall, winter and spring months, Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp is host to several annual activities. Minister's Retreats, Ladies' Retreats, Youth Retreats, Congregational and Family Retreats, Family Reunions, work days and other activities take place throughout the calendar year. Most of these activities are open to anyone wishing to attend and you may contact us for information and dates. PSCC would be an ideal location for your next retreat or special event. In attempt to strengthen the "whole person", there is an abundance of outdoor recreation areas at PSCC. These include, but are not limited to:
There are two areas of lodging (boys and girls for camp sessions.) The large area has 10 cabins with 14 beds each and bath houses. The smaller area has 6 cabins with 14 beds each, 1 large cabin with 30 beds, and three bath houses. Also available is a directors' cabin with 5 beds, refrigerator and bath house. All cabins are equipped with heat and air. Maximum capacity is 260. There is also a Nurse's station with fully stocked first-aid station, two beds and full bath.
The Clint Williams dining hall will seat 240 on fold-up dining tables. There are also banquet style tables and chairs available for your special event or retreat. The brick fireplace adds just the right tough during colder months. The commercial kitchen has everything you need to prepare food for a large or small group. It is equipped with refrigeration, freezer space, industrial dishwasher, icemaker, coffee maker, iced tea maker, heated serving area, pots, pans and utensils.
The "Little Chapel" is an excellent facility for your lecture, Bible study or worship times. It will seat up to 300 and has central heat and air, song books and a sound system. The recently updated interior make is a wonderful 'sanctuary' for spiritual enrichment and growth. There are no musical instruments, food, drink or gum allowed in the chapel.
There are two pavilion areas at the camp. One covers the outdoor basketball court and one is 60' by 120'. These pavilions make open-air activities possible with limited protections from the elements. The buildings may be used for worship, entertainment, games, crafts or anything else that can be done outside. Folding chairs to seat about 200 are available upon request.
A $200 minimum deposit is required to schedule retreat dates. The per night cost will be due at the close the retreat. One month prior cancellation is required to receive a refund of the deposit. Fees - $200 for the first 25 campers, then $8 per night for each additional camper. Dining Hall and Meal Cost - $150 per day for the dining hall for overnight retreats. $250 per day if there is no overnight stay. Meals may be provided by the camp staff on a limited basis for groups of 25 or more. Four weeks notice is necessary and the cost is $6 per meal per person.
